
Exchange Teacher Training, accredited to Delta Academies Trust, delivers initial teacher training in the North East and West, in partnership with Northern Education Trust (NET). Delta and its partners, have a longstanding, proven track record in delivering high quality Initial Teacher Training, and many are at the forefront of developments in teaching practice and professional learning nationally.
Our trainees in the North East and West benefit from local placement schools, mostly within NET, with weekly training place taking place at Farringdon Community Academy, Sunderland. The induction conference and secondary subject sessions will take place at other locations in Yorkshire, including the Education Exchange Conference Centre in Knottingley, West Yorkshire.
NET is a training partner of Exchange Teacher Training, delivering high quality initial teacher training. NET was formed in 2012 and currently sponsors 30 academies, 17 secondary and 13 primaries, across the North East and North West. They are growing their network of schools in the North West of England, with Bolton schools currently receiving applications to Exchange Teacher Training courses.
