Where You Will Train

Exchange Teacher Training is led by a diverse partnership of credible organisations and educationalists serving Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and West, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. Partners have a proven track record in delivering Initial Teacher Training, and many are at the forefront of developments in teaching practice and professional learning nationally.  

Together, we are committed to the importance of 'exchange': sharing our knowledge, skills and expertise generously for the benefit of young people in our communities. We strive to drive achievement, address disadvantage and raise the aspirations of the children we serve. 

In order that we can provide high quality, impactful and localised ITT across the North, Exchange Teacher Training has also established delivery partners who can co-ordinate all aspects of programme delivery within their own regions: Tykes Teaching Alliance leads our programmes in South Yorkshire, and Northern Education Trust lead delivery in the North East and West on our behalf. All our trainees can therefore benefit from a local offer that is informed by regional and national expertise, with the significant capacity of a wider partnership.
