We are a vast network of schools across Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Worksop offering high-quality initial teacher training, led by Tykes Teaching Alliance.
Tykes Teaching Alliance was founded in 2014 as local schools collaborated to deliver Initial Teacher Training, Continuous Professional Development and School to School support. Our alliance is driven by a moral purpose to ensure that young people fulfil their potential and have the best educational possibilities regardless of their background or ability.
We know that teaching quality has the biggest impact on pupil outcomes and therefore we want to attract passionate candidates into the teaching profession, ensure they receive high quality training and support to create a flow of great teachers into South Yorkshire schools.
We are also a delivery partner for Exchange Teaching Hub for the Early Careers Framework, Appropriate Body and National Professional Qualifications across Barnsley and Doncaster.
